Our Story
Sapphire Digital Solutions was founded in British Columbia with one observation: Canadian public sector organizations were being underserved by an industry more interested in selling platforms than solving problems.
We\u2019ve worked inside public sector digital projects. We\u2019ve seen what goes wrong and why. Municipalities signing long contracts for systems that never quite fit. Communities paying for capabilities they use 10% of. Vendors who disappear after delivery. It\u2019s a pattern that has cost the public sector millions and set communities back years.
We built Sapphire to be the alternative: a consultancy that takes the time to understand your community before recommending anything, then builds exactly what\u2019s needed using the best technology available. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Our Philosophy
Start with understanding
We don’t arrive with a solution. We arrive with questions. Every community has a different history, different constraints, different needs. We learn before we build.
Build with integrity
We recommend what’s right, not what’s most profitable. If a simple solution solves the problem, that’s what you get. We don’t engineer complexity to justify fees.
Stay for the long term
Our goal is a 10-year relationship, not a 10-month contract. The organizations we work with should never have to start over because we aren’t there anymore.
